Description

 

Adam Blanshay Productions is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual, with an interest in commercial theatre production and desire to gain experience of the industry, to join our team.

 

The Production & Office Assistant will support the Producer and General Manager with general day-to-day office administration and assist with current and upcoming production duties by undertaking a range of tasks and responsibilities. They will also help manage the day-to-day operations of a busy production office.

 

The candidate will also be someone who can provide and maintain proficient administrative support, be proactive and resourceful in their duties working closely with the ABP’s General Manager, Bookkeeper and Producer, but also able to work independently.

  • General office administration – filing, preparing invitations,

  • Reconcile expenses (collating office and production receipts with the bookkeeper)

  • Completing House Seat Orders

  • Respond to general enquiry emails and letters

  • Schedule In-person/zoom meetings and maintain appointment calendar

  • Arranging calls and sending out conference call dial-in information

  • Filing and managing digital file system

  • Diary management – arranging meetings, logistics, booking venues

  • Organising UK, European and Worldwide Travel – booking train tickets, air travel and hotel accommodation and drafting itineraries, requesting Visa’s etc

  • Filing and maintaining all documentation for the company

  • Assisting with personal tasks; financial and otherwise

  • Updating the ABP Websites /Social Media Accounts /Posters /Biogs

  • Creating production information packets

  • Contacting agents and conducting talent availability checks

  • Streamlining administrative system

  • Keeping accurate records of investor, client, co-producer details

  • Arranging and attending investor events (some evening/weekend commitments may be required but rarely)

 

Essential

 

  • Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise

  • Computer Literate (Excellent at Excel, Word, Outlook/Mail)

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail (written and verbal)

  • Proactive and motivated work ethic - Able to carry out a broad range of tasks

  • Ability to work on own initiative.

  • Smart presentation.

  • Clear passion for theatre and production management

 

 

Desirable

 

  • Experience working in the theatre and arts industry

  • French language. Translation Skills (Written and Verbal) – Not necessary
