Description:

 

Adam Blanshay Productions is seeking an in-house theatrical General Manager. The General Manager is a key member of the Adam Blanshay Productions staff thus, must have a minimum 2 years’ experience as a General Manager in the theatre and arts sector. The successful applicant will be in large part responsible for managing project operations and processes. They should have a good knowledge of drafting and negotiating contacts and agreements, general day to day management of productions, overseeing logistic and financials, production budgeting, investors reporting and investment & co-production management and financial management. The ideal candidate must have good experience in this line of work as we are looking for someone you can jump straight into the role.

 

The General Manager will also be someone who can provide and maintain the right systems and industry practices, at a high standard, to enable our theatre projects to progress accordingly as well as provide ongoing, proficient administrative support, working closely with the ABP’s Producer, Associate Producer and Production Assistant.

    • Liaising with Marketing company to devise best strategy alongside producers

    • Sales Analysis

    • Sales Management, with Box Office. Knowledge of effective dynamic pricing

Investors and Investment & Co-production Management

Investments & Co-productions

    • Advise Producers on financial elements of investment and Co-production opportunities

    • Creation of recoupment schedules and investment packs

    • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating co-production and investor contracts

    • Managing Investment Database, in liaison with the producer and production assistant

 

Finance

  • In liaison with the company bookkeeper and Producer:

    • Day to day financial management of SPV’s, including invoice and bill management.

    • Royalty Calculations and payments

    • Payroll Assistance and payments

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years experience in General Management/in the theatre and arts sector

  • Computer Literate - Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook/Mail, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail (written and verbal)
